When the sun is shining and the mountain meadows waft their sweet scent, anyone hungry for physical exercise can start out on shorter walks, longer hikes or mountain bike tours into the Hausberg and Kreuzeck area as well as into the Wetterstein mountains right from the hotel doorstep. Just a few steps away there’s a tennis centre with four indoor and ten outdoor courts, an asphalt sheet for summer curling and a paragliding school for anyone who wants to head up high.
Horse fans can saddle up directly from the breakfast table. The next-door riding stables offer pony and horse riding with and without lessons as well as romantic horse-drawn carriage rides (at a special price for our guests). You can walk to Garmisch town centre with its attractive shopping and dining opportunities on an idyllic meadow path in roughly ten minutes. Alpspitz Wellenbad is situated on the edge of the meadow. Its numerous indoor and outdoor pools, the large sauna complex and 96-metre-long tube and nine-metre-high Speed slide guarantee swimming fun for all ages.
After all that sporty activity, our beer garden and the large sunbathing lawn next to the stream invites you to just chill and relax.
